INTERIOR DESIGN FOR SOUTH SOUND HOMEOWNERS
With a background in both residential and commercial construction, principal designer Hayley brings a practical lens to every project. That means your design isn’t just beautiful — it’s buildable.
Our design process bridges creative vision with real-world experience, helping homeowners make confident decisions at every step. We collaborate closely with contractors and trades to streamline communication, prevent costly delays, and keep your project aligned from concept to completion.
Every client designer relationship is a little different — and we think that’s a good thing. Some clients prefer to hand off the design process entirely and trust us to bring their vision to life. Others like to be part of each decision, from tile selection to hardware finishes.
Our job is to make that collaboration feel easy. We adapt our level of involvement to match your comfort and pace, so the process feels natural and never overwhelming.
HC Spec + Design works with homeowners across the South Puget Sound on projects of all sizes — from full-home design and large-scale remodels to single-room transformations.
Whether it’s a kitchen that needs better flow, a living space that’s missing warmth, or a master bedroom that deserves a fresh perspective, we help you find what feels right for your home and your lifestyle.
Residential Interior Design
We design homes with people in mind and approach every project with intention and care. Whether it’s a remodel, new construction home, or a full redesign each space is shaped around how south sound homeowners and their families live, what brings them comfort, and how design can improve life at home.
OUR PROCESS
We walk you through each phase—from early concept and selections to coordination with builders—so you always know what to expect and feel confident in every decision.
- Step 1 | DISCOVER – Every project begins with a conversation. We take the time to learn about your home, your goals, and how you want to live in your space. This helps us understand what matters most before any design work begins.
- Step 2 | DESIGN – From concepts and layouts to finishes and fixtures, we guide you through each decision with clarity and intention. You’ll see your ideas take shape through drawings, visuals, and curated selections that align with your vision and budget.
- Step 3 | DELIVER – Once the design is finalized, we coordinate with your builder or contractor to help bring it all to life. Our involvement continues through the final details to ensure the finished space reflects the plan we built together.
At HC Spec + Design, our work blends creativity with practicality. We manage the details that bring your vision to life, coordinating between design, planning, and construction to ensure a smooth, efficient process.
We believe great design isn’t about following trends—it’s about creating spaces that support how you live today and grow with you over time. Whether you’re updating a single room or reimagining your entire home, our process is built around connection, collaboration, and results that truly reflect you.
