INTERIOR DESIGN FOR HOME REMODELS
With a background in both residential and commercial construction, principal designer Hayley approaches every remodel with an understanding of what it takes to turn vision into reality. That means your home isn’t just redesigned to look beautiful it’s reimagined to work better for how you live.
Our remodel design process blends creative problem-solving with construction knowledge to help homeowners make confident, informed decisions at every stage. We collaborate closely with contractors and trades to ensure design and build stay aligned preventing delays, clarifying selections, and creating a smoother experience overall.
Every remodel is different some homes need a full reconfiguration, while others benefit from updates that refine what’s already there. We adapt our process to your project’s scale and scope, guiding you through layouts, finishes, and details that honor the existing structure while bringing in fresh perspective.
HC Spec + Design partners with homeowners across the South Puget Sound region on remodels of all sizes — from kitchen and bath updates to whole-home transformations. We help you make design choices that bring new life to familiar spaces, blending functionality, comfort, and timeless design that feels distinctly yours.
Interior Design For Home Remodeling
We’ve refined our remodel design process to make each project clear, collaborative, and aligned with your goals. Whether you’re opening up your kitchen, modernizing a bathroom, or giving your entire home a new feel, our approach keeps design and construction moving together from start to finish.
OUR PROCESS
From early concept and selections to coordination with remodeling contractors you always know what to expect and can feel confident in every decision.
- Step 1 | DISCOVER – We begin by understanding your home’s existing layout, what’s working, and what isn’t. From there, we define your goals, priorities, and style direction so the design supports both the structure and the way you live.
- Step 2 | DESIGN – We translate your vision into a detailed design plan — rethinking layouts, selecting materials, and refining finishes that bring balance and flow to your home. Every decision is made with your contractor’s process and timeline in mind.
- Step 3 | DELIVER – Once the design is approved, we coordinate with your builder or remodel team to oversee selections and maintain alignment as construction unfolds. The result is a refreshed home that feels cohesive, intentional, and ready for your next chapter.
At HC Spec + Design, our work blends creativity with practicality. We manage the details that bring your vision to life, coordinating between design, planning, and construction to ensure a smooth, efficient process.
We believe great design isn’t about following trends—it’s about creating spaces that support you and your families life at home. Whether you’re updating a single room or renewing your entire home, our process is built around connection, collaboration, and results that truly reflect your vision.
