Maximize the design and functionality of your New Construction Home.
INTERIOR DESIGN FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION HOMES
With a background in both residential and commercial construction, principal designer Hayley brings a practical, detail-oriented approach to new home design. That means your space isn’t just designed to look beautiful — it’s thoughtfully planned to function seamlessly from day one.
Our new construction design process bridges creative vision with the technical coordination required to bring a home to life. We collaborate with homeowners, builders, and trades early in the process to ensure every finish, fixture, and layout choice works cohesively with the home’s architecture and timeline. From preliminary concepts and selections to builder coordination and final walkthroughs, our goal is to make the process clear, organized, and enjoyable.
Every project and client are unique — some prefer a comprehensive design package that covers the entire home, while others need guidance on key selections like cabinetry, flooring, and lighting. We adapt to your level of involvement and comfort, helping you make confident decisions that support both the function and personality of your new home.
HC Spec + Design partners with homeowners across the South Puget Sound region to shape homes that feel intentional, balanced, and distinctly personal. Whether you’re building your forever home or a modern retreat, we help you make design choices that align with your vision and bring lasting comfort to your everyday life.
New Construction Interior Design
We’ve refined our new construction design process to make it clear, efficient, and aligned with your build timeline. From planning to installation, our approach focuses on communication, organization, and the details that make a new house truly feel like home.
OUR PROCESS
From early concept and selections to coordination with builders— you always know what to expect and can feel confident in every decision.
- Step 1 | PLAN – We start by reviewing your architectural drawings and learning about your goals for the home. From there, we identify your aesthetic preferences, lifestyle needs, and project priorities so every design decision feels intentional and cohesive from the start.
- Step 2 | DESIGN – Once the foundation is set, we guide you through material and finish selections — cabinetry, flooring, lighting, paint, and more — ensuring each choice works together seamlessly. You’ll receive clear visuals and coordination support to keep the process on track with your builder’s schedule.
- Step 3 | DELIVER – As construction progresses, we stay connected with your builder and trades to oversee design details and maintain alignment from concept to completion. By the time your keys are in hand, your new home feels complete, cohesive, and perfectly suited to you.
At HC Spec + Design, our work blends creativity with practicality. We manage the details that bring your vision to life, coordinating between design, planning, and construction to ensure a smooth, efficient process.
We believe great design isn’t about following trends, if you need good Interior Design for your New Construction Home, our process is built around connection, collaboration, and results that reflect your vision.
